Hey everybody!!!  I started this blog to get a story to the forefront of the media. That never happened,but I did accomplish saving my home!

Now I want to let other people know that they can do the same thing. It just takes some work.  I believe in doing right by people. I believe in the “GOLDEN RULE”.  If you live by that standard, things work themselves out.

If you want to save your house from foreclosure? Then get your tail up and save it. The first thing you will need is a .99 composition book,telephone,and a whole lot of patience. You will be on hold for a couple of hours at a time. That is why GOD made the speaker phone.  Once you call your mort. co. and they say we are selling your house on this date, you say ok .  Write down who you talked to,their co. ID number and a summary of what was said.   You show up on those auction dates and ask people not to bid on your home.  For the most part that works. I did run into one person who was gonna bid anyway. I told him in the state of MS there is a law,that states, You the original owner of said property have 2 years to pay the principal owed. If  you bid on my house I will save that money,and take it right back from you.  I am sure there are similar laws in other states.   Then you pick up your phone again and call that mort. co. and tell them what you are doing.   Honesty is always the best policy.  Now I went through those motions for a solid year. It sucked. The last 3 auctions on my home I didn’t even have to go to because I would call Saxon and tell them what I was doing. So they just kept postponing the auction date.   They didn’t know what to do with my account. They wouldn’t take any money from me,but they would say, “you haven’t paid you house note in over a year”. I would say “I tried to but yall’ kept sending my money back.”  As soon as your 3 mos. behind they won’t take your money.  So you beat them at there on game.  You do it in a very nice and cordial way. Just don’t forget to keep that note book with you at ALL TIMES!  Now if that doesn’t work and you have moved up the chain of command like I did (let me speak to your supervisor please). When the chain ends you will probably end up with a name for a CEO of a fortune 500 co.  That is when you do have to spend a little money and,go on line and find their adress.  You write a hand written letter telling him what is going on in one of his subsidiaries, tell him the TRUTH.  Go to the post office and have the letter certified and do a return/recieve. That way no one but the CEO himself  can sign for it.   Now be sure you can afford your home.  Also negotiate the intrest rate. Above all make sure it’s a fixed rate.  Don’t take no for an answer.  It works it really does. Also don’t ever believe those ceo’s are above you.  Don’t ever believe those bill collectors are above you.  We all bleed the same color. Just because you are going through a hard time doesn’t give anyone the right to kick ya, while your down.
